Ph.D. Students

Subhankar Das
Ph.D. EEE, IIT Guwahati
Research interests - Magnetic random-access memory (MRAM), Spin transfer torque, and Spin-orbit torque devices
Subhankar received his B.Tech degree in Instrumentation and Control Engineering from the Haldia Institute of Technology, India with a silver medal in 2017. He completed his M.Tech degree in VLSI Systems from the National Institute of Technology Nagaland, India while receiving the gold medal for the best outgoing student award in 2022. Currently, he is pursuing a Ph.D. degree in the department of Electronics and Electrical Engineering at the Indian Institute of Technology Guwahati, India.

Atul Kumar Singh
Ph.D. EEE, IIT Guwahati
Research interests - Spintronics devices, MRAM, Opto-magnetic memory, UV photodetectors
Atul Kumar Singh received his bachelor’s degree in Electronic and Instrumentation engineering from Kalinga institute of industrial technology, Odisha, India in 2019. After graduation, he completed his Master’s degree in VLSI system from the National Institute of Technology Nagaland, Dimapur in 2022. He is currently pursuing his Ph.D. in Nanoelectronics in the Electronics and Electrical engineering (EEE) department at IIT Guwahati. He published two journals (IEEE Photonics Technology Letters and Materials letters) and one conference (IEEE INDICON) paper based on UV photodetector in 2021-22.

Chaitanya Tejaswi

Research: Magnetoresistive study of Skyrmionic Magnetic Tunnel Junctions
An electronics engineer by education (B.E. in ECE from Gujarat Technological University (2018), MTech in VLSI Design from IIT Guwahati (2023)), Chaitanya’s interests include VLSI systems design, embedded systems, image processing, and Python-based development. He's currently working on modeling & simulation of MTJ-based devices for logic & memory applications. Anne Ruth Mukherjee

Research- Spintronics and Magnetic Memory Devices
Currently, she is pursuing B.Tech in Electronics and Communication Engineering from Birla Institute of Technology, Mesra, off-campus, Deoghar. She has done a minor project using Arduino. She has an aggregate of 8.2 CGPA in academics.
