Discussion at SEL, NUS
During the time at Spin and Energy lab (SEL), national University of Singapore (NUS), I enjoyed and still appreciate the deep discussions with my fellow colleagues on a plethora of topics on magnetic thin-films and spintronics. A wonderful team enables amazing scientific breakthroughs.
The thin-film 'voyager'
Inside a sputter deposition tool. Such a tool is our mainstay for all challenging material development expeditions and scientific exploration, especially in the semiconductor technology. Similar to the voyager, a sputter tool takes us into the world of the unknown- the nano-world.

The Fourth State
A peek into the inside of a sputter deposition tool provides us a beautiful view of the fourth state of matter. A dense plasma is generated near the cathode during the deposition process. A wide variety of thin-film materials including, magnetic, metallic, insulator etc. can be grown by generating the 'fourth state' in a sputter deposition chamber.
IBM Zurich
I was fortunate to be able to experience and work with the world class facilities at the Binnig and Rohrer Nanotechnology Center, IBM Zurich.

Falling walls 2021, Berlin
It was an absolute honor to be a part of the Falling walls lab 2021, Berlin. It was a life time experience to be amongst the greats of industry, academia, nobel laurates and investors alike. This event provided a platform for the brightest minds across the globe to share ideas and connect.
Falling Walls- Memory technologies
Falling Walls lab in Switzerland was my first foray into the multidisciplinary ideas and startups. Here I presented my pitch on 'Breaking the wall of data latency and loss', which addressed some imminent problems in the futuristic memory technologies. I was a winner at the lab and further went on to be a winner and emerging talent in the final lab in Berlin.

Poster on thin-film magnetic media
Conferences are a great opportunity to present our work and cultivate collaborations. A shot from poster presentation at 'The magnetic recording conference (TMRC)', Minnesota, USA.
Work presentation on HDD
A presentation on different aspects of my work on Hard disk drive (HDD).....

Falling walls 2021, Berlin
So many bright minds from different corners of the world. All with the same broader goal of making our world a better place.....
Fun with fellow colleagues
Always a treat to be able to enjoy some fun filled moments with fellow colleagues.

Group outing
Some group outings are always unforgettable. A weekend outing in Interlaken, Switzerland.
Group apéro
Group apéro during Covid19 pandemic were a rare thing but once in a while we managed to beat the pandemic blues.

Group Dinner
Group Dinners are always awesome experience. I was fortunate to work along side many bright minds across the globe and share some enlightening discussions over food. One such pic from Singapore.
Scaling heights
During the IEEE magnetic summer school we had the opportunity to scale on of the most famous and highest peak in Japan- Mt. Fuji.

A thoughtful moment..
Most of the better ideas comes to us in the serenity and tranquility of nature. One such moment during the Intermag conference in Ireland.
An ancient world engineering wonder...
The Great Wall of China- one of engineering marvels of the ancient-medieval world, keeps reminding us to constantly innovate to ensure a better future for humanity. I managed to visit this wonderful creation during the Intermag conference in China.
